I am a corporate person who stays at the, Boatshed Motel Apartments ,on several occasions.
I find the motel extremely well appointed, clean and luxurious---a feeling of "home from home". I have stayed in just about every unit of theirs and they are all lovely.
There are outstanding views both inland and towards the ocean, with easy accessibility to the beach, shops and restaurants.
The hosts, Ken and Rae, are very friendly and obliging and nothing is too much trouble.

The Boatshed apartments in Mt. Maunganui is a perfect lodging for large groups or individual travelers. I have accompanied special study tours to New Zealand with a stopover at the Boatshed apartments for a weekend. Students every year not only enjoy this group homestay at the Boatshed apartments but the opportunity to experience wonderful New Zealand hospitality with the Whittle family. Each self contained apartment is spacious and clean. Guests have access to the nearby lovely beach area or can hike around Mt. Maunganui.

I stayed at your apartments for three nights - 26/27/28 November and I would like to thank you for your kindness in upgrading me into a very comfortable apartment and a nice breakfast. I was on my own but felt comfortable at all times and will certainly be recommending you to anyone I know who is going to Mt Mauganui.
